Maureen Christine is an award-winning vocalist who has enchanted audiences from Chicago to Europe with a voice "crystal clear, not a note or syllable wasted" (Bruce Kalver - Nostalgia Times Radio.) She has headlined at concert halls, cabaret and jazz clubs, festivals and colleges throughout the midwest winning critical acclaim as "a singer worth crowing about!" (Northwest Chicago Tribune). Maureen was chosen to be included in the Illinois Arts Council ArtsTour roster and her concerts, symphony orchestra appearances, cabaret shows and guest performances with "Big Band" are continually met with praise. "Maureen's voice is absolutely mesmerizing." (Jovenel Gauntea - WNCW Radio). In Chicagoland, Maureen has appeared at such prestigious venues as The Palmer House, The Royal George Cabaret Theater, The Pump Room of the Ambasodor East Hotel, The Green Mill jazz club, the historic Woodstock Opera House and Oshkosh Opera House. LML Music has released Maureen's CD "My Romance" which consists of "a number of solid standards including the title track and "The Nearness of you" (Whitney Radio) and demonstrates her "excellent voice" (Ed Z. Pell of "Seems Like Old Times" radio). Her CD also includes the saxophone stylings of Pete Christliebe from the Johnny Carson Tonight Show Orchestra. Maureen is constantly in demand, performing at over 150 concerts, cabaret shows and special events annually. She is currently working on a second CD which will be released in 2001.
